Touriver Astro opens its astronomy room

Touriver's geodesic dome now houses its equipped astronomy room, with a Meade LX65 telescope and a second Sky-Watcher instrument for introductory sessions.

Three formats are offered: a discovery session for a first look at the Moon and visible planets, a group evening for families and schools, and coverage of major celestial events — eclipses, meteor showers, conjunctions.

The room can host groups of up to 25 people, with explanations designed to be accessible to all ages.
